The separate entry apartment/suite feels like a house within a house. A great two story space, perfect for business travelers, couples traveling together or families and friends needing a separate sleeping accommodation. And, when not booked for extended stays, a fine getaway for single travelers and couples on a nightly basis. Formerly a leased apartment, I added the suite to the bed and breakfast and furnished it with great finds and house sale furnishings making it another cozy, eclectic space. I rediscovered valuable artwork I had done hiding in my basement and bought some new frames. The kitchen is completely outfitted for cooking meals "at home": full size frig, stove, microwave, pots, pans, dishes and utensils! A small stereo, a couple TV's and a writing desk complete the suite.
The suite of rooms was separated during the 1970 remodel. Windows look out at every direction while the unique architectural space further evokes the quality of your own little home. For those who want to cook their own meal, it is just a short walk across the street to the supermarket or the West Side Farmers Market. A travel companion can sleep on the comforatable queen size sleep sofa which has easy access to the additional half bath; a roll-away in the loft area outside the bedroom adds a third sleeping area. Nightly guests may join the other guests for breakfast downstairs.
