This guest room is named after my late mother. She stayed here when she came to visit. Later when I got downsized and decided to create the bed and breakfast she paid my house payment. I told her she bought the naming rights! Many of the antiques come from her side of the family, some dating back to my great-great grand parents. Thanks to my mother I am still here and able to share some of my family history along with the house.
The bay area of the house defines the Hart room. It is on the second level, just across the hall from the shared double-sink bath. The room features a full size Eastlake bed with companion dresser and more books! There's a small frig for doggy bag or beverages. A beautiful leaded glass window contributes to the wonderful shadows that grace the walls in late afternoon. How about a nap before dinner?
