Clifford House is a private home bed a breakfast in the heart of Cleveland's best neighborhood.
Our uniquely eclectic, formal and charming home, built in 1868 as a square Tuscany Style, was expanded in 1890 to it‘s present Queen Anne size. The home has always been one of the notable architectural anchors of the neighborhood, often referred to as "THE Brick House" of Ohio City.

"We decided to spend a night on the town in Cleveland and found this adorable B&B which came recommended from a local. We were planning on spending most of our time in Ohio city so this B&B was within walking distance of West Side Market, Great Lakes Brewing and a whole host of fun restaurants and bars.
If you are looking for a great home base to explore Cleveland, I highly recommend Clifford House."

The bay area of the house defines the Hart room, and a beautiful leaded glass window contributes to the wonderful shadows that grace the walls in late afternoon.
Albert Withington built the home in 1868, and his master bedroom is at the front of the house. Three large windows welcome the morning.
"My wife and I stayed at Clifford House for the first time this past weekend and we absolutely could not have been more pleased. Jim's hospitality is first rate and I would give his breakfast a bonus 6th star if the rating system allowed it. Just steps from Great Lakes Brewery and countless great restaurants and local breweries, this place is a gem in a neighborhood with much to offer.
Staying with Jim is liking staying with a favorite uncle. We can't wait to find an excuse to come back."
"We LOVED Jim and Clifford House!"
